A starfish when under water
Has mighty strength to guide.
It can hold fat to a rock
regardless of the tide.
But, should it wander from its home,
The strength it had is gone.
It relies on another's charity
to allow it to live on.
and so it is with our lives on earth;
as we live each day,
with love, our Savior guides our path
and helps us to obey
but should we wonder away from him
and find we lose our way
the sacrifices of the Son of God
will guide us home to stay.

one of the values.)

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
my home in heaven seems so far
I long to see my Father's face
from down here in this worldly place
each night amongst the stars I see
a sign that He has left for me
seven stars that sine bright and true
each brings to mind a sacred value
I know I am of royal birth
if I live these values here on earth
then my Father's face I will surely see
As he calls me by name and welcomes me.

the wise men cam from afar
in search of Him, the followed a star
they laid before Him their precious gift
and He in turn their souls did lift

so on your ceiling place this star
to help remind you who you are
that ever close to Him you'll stay
you'll remember often to kneel and pray

That star that hangs above your bed
reminds you scriptures must be read
you precious soul, you want to feed
mingled with prayer, you'll want to read

when you find your day is done
you'll see the star and know you've won
if your own light you haven't let dim
and like the wise men, you've followed him.
