This idea was
submitted by Angela in KY who said, "I cannot take the credit completely for the
activity. I know I have seen it on another website. Where, I couldn't tell
you. I tried for six weeks to find it after I found it the first time. I thank
my Heavenly Father very much for the opportunity I have to serve in the YW
organization. Everything we have, we owe to Him, even our ideas. Thanks to those who
inspired me with this.

Dear Sisters,
Last night was the most awesome and spiritual night we have had since I became the YW
president. We had been planning this activity for a couple of months. We felt by
doing this activity before the broadcast, we could boost the attendance.
We told the girls they were going on a journey to teach them how to obtain keys to the
kingdom, passing by the sentinel angels to return to their Heavenly Father. The YW
presidency and our "angel helpers", all wore our white temple
dresses. Our priesthood holders also wore their temple whites.
Our "angels" presented the girls with one key each time they would enter a
room. The first 3 rooms (Pre-Existence, Birth, Baptism) were narrated by our branch
president.
The first room had pictures of the Savior, Joseph Smith, and our current First Presidency,
lit by a nightlight.
The second room was lit by a flashlight, and we had plants, flowers, baby pictures, etc.
The Third room had baptismal clothing, baptism memory books, scriptures, poems and our
children's baptism programs, plants, etc., lit by dim table light
Our high councilman narrated the last two rooms (Temple Ordinances and Mortal
Death/Celestial Glory).
The fourth room had lots of temple pictures, the YW presidency's wedding pictures and
Temple Marriage Certificates, plants, flowers, porcelain figures of Christ, etc., lit by
two table lamps and Christmas lights.
In the fifth room was a huge picture of Christ, brass planters w/lots of green plants,
white Christmas lights, Ensigns and Friends w/pictures of Christ, we put white sheets
across our dividers, a white rug
down in the middle of the room w/white tablecloth and flowers, a ficus tree, draped in
gold satin w/white Christmas lights, etc. (We also had the overhead lights on in this
room. We asked the mothers to come to the 5th room with us first. We explained
to them that the YW were being taught at that moment that after death, they will live
again, with loved ones ready to meet them.
We took each girl out one at a time, gave her the celestial glory key and opened the door,
to find her mother!!!!!
It was truly a very spiritual evening. While in the 5th room, I bore my testimony
that Christ lives today, that he came to this earth, to give each one of us the
opportunity to live again. They need to stay focused, keep their standards and
morals high. Don't be afraid to be "different".
We presented them w/the mirror idea that came across this list (Thanks!!) with a
transparency of Christ in it. We told them to search the scriptures, pray often and
to remember their Savior at all times, in all things, and in all places and they will gain
their most precious treasure, their testimony!!!!! Then, they will reflect the light
of Christ!!!!
We had a light dinner, and then went back into the "Celestial Glory" room, where
we watched the broadcast, via satellite.
