F - Roadshows - The Hero Is?

Getting ready for the big game-everyone is excited and going to the pep rally.

A YM (or YW) is standing by the fence looking in at all of the excitement and sighs. People pass by without even noticing. Some even bump into him and then laugh, "Oh, it's just you!" and keep going.

Then a group of LDS youth come along. "Hey, what are you doing out here? Don't you know it's the BIG GAME?"

The youth looks around to see who they are talking to and realizes it's him!

Just then the key players run onto the field - they are announced as they enter

Nephi & Lehi - the great-grandsons of Alma the Younger!
"The" Sons of Mosiah , Helaman, Samuel the Lamanite Captain Moroni
(Name as many heroes as needed )

The crowd goes wild with cheering and then they start singing "Youth of Zion"

One of the LDS youth says, "OH NO! Here come Korihor! He's the most diabolical of all ball hogs! He always tries to lessen our faith in Jesus. He's the quarterback and throws nothing but touchdowns and we're on HIS team! YEAH!!!!!! (Football slamming and sounds)

#2 - "Don't look now guys, but to make matters worse, here comes Zoram and his followers! They think they are the only ones who should even touch the ball and we all have to listen to them once a week tell us how great they are"

# 3 - We're going to need help! Where's Esther, Ruth, Rebecca (now there's a girl worth traveling around the world for!) Here they come! Don't forget about the three daughters of Onitah - they are beautiful and righteous!

#l - Well, I'm just glad we have Abish on our team - she has such great faith! Things are really looking up now."

The YM standing by the fence looks away, "Well, it doesn't look like they need me. I'm just the waterboy" and he starts to walk away.

Captain Moroni comes rushing over - "Boy, am I glad I found you! We just received word that Jesus isn't going to be able to play with us today!"

Everyone - "Why?"

Captain Moroni, "Heavenly Father said this is the BIG GAME and it's time we showed what "we" could do. He said Jesus has shown us everything we need to know and now it our turn to carry the ball. If we win the game, Heavenly Father promised we'd get the biggest and best trophy of all times! This is it guys! We've got to do it and I know we can!

(More cheering and football sounds)

#2 - talking to Moroni, "He was just leaving - he didn't think you'd notice he wasn't there.....He said, "I'm just the waterboy" Captain Moroni, you need to straighten him out"

Captain Moroni, "Just the Waterboy! Did you hear that? He thinks he's "just" the waterboy"

Then very seriously, "don't you know - You're the thirst quencher! You remind the team how important it is to drink "before" we get thirsty. "If" we wait until we "are thirsty", Korihor has a greater change of making us fumble the ball! And the last thing we need to do is give Zoram and his followers something to talk about on their Rameumpton tower!"

"You've got to get over there! We need to power up!" He puts his arm around Waterboy and they walk off together.

Captain Moroni laughs - "Just" the waterboy! Good thing I saw you standing there or you might have gone home without the trophy!"
