Here is an idea for a theme. I'm very excited about this one! It may be too late now for you, but it's an idea for another year.

We are doing "Accept and Act Upon the Young Women Values to Come Unto Christ"

We felt that our girls really need to focus on the values and Personal Progress this year. Each month we have a value and the theme for that month is the value definition. We have really tried to have the values reinforced in the activity.

We are going to have a Personal Progress night each month where the girls do interviews, work on personal progress, etc. If they have memorized the value definition for that month, they recite it at our PP nights and they will receive a small jewel or bead in that value color to put on a bracelet chain.

We also have projects for YWIE. Each girl will do a water color of the age-group symbol for their age. I will cut them out and mount them on black paper and laminate them for YWIE.

Theme: I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father, who loves me, and I will have faith in his eternal plan, which centers on Jesus Christ, my Savior.

April
Value: Integrity
Theme: I will have the moral courage to make my actions consistent with my knowledge of right and wrong.

Activities:
-Integrity First Aid Kits
-Visit Walker's Bride Emporium (modesty presentation and modest prom dresses)

May
Value: Knowledge

Definition: "I will continually seek opportunities for learning and growth."
Activities:
-Learn to make Ice Cream
-Mother/Daughter Activity
-Homework Tutoring night

June
Value: Good Works

-Write Missionaries

-Learn to make a quilt to donate

July
Value: Choice & Accountability

-Standards Night

August

September
