When I saw this New Era Poster I
immediately thought of all of those who have been affected by the recent
storms in Louisiana and Texas. The devastation of the storms have been
felt by all of us. I wondered how many people used their 72 hour
kits during this terrible time and I've wondered about all of the food
storage that was destroyed by the floods. What I've come up with is
Obedience. When we are obedient to a principle, we gain strength.
When we are obedient, we also are prepared to help others. I
know that many lives are being touched for good because of the obedience to
the principle of "preparation". Many are able to reach out and
help others because they have prepared. I pray for those who are
suffering and I pray that they can feel the love of God for them during this
trying time.
