Monthly theme presentations by the Mia Maids and Laurels -each girl will have a teddy bear (using bears because we "bear" our testimony) that represents her months' theme to hold while she gives her presentation. The Mia Maids did their presentation in the form of a poem or a testimony and the Laurels each chose a woman from the scriptures to portray in costume as a little skit.

January Building Faith, Building Testimony - Faith (explained as part of the introduction)

February A Testimony is More than Words - Individual Worth

The women of the scripture should be one who recognized her great worth as a daughter of God and thus became a living example of her testimony of Jesus Christ. She should be a woman who strived to fulfill her divine mission as a daughter of God by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, serving her fellowmen and magnifying her callings. She should be a loving mother and wife who shares her testimony through her example. Your presentation could include experiences in her life that show her to be such a woman. The woman chosen to emulate this was Eve.

March Filling My Testimony Tank - Knowledge

Your testimony should include your feelings about gaining knowledge, both secular and spiritual and how this will help build your testimony of the Savior. It could include ways that you continually seek opportunities for learning and growth such as seminary, scripture reading, school, developing new talents, trying new things, accepting callings.

April The Holy Ghost Testifies to Me - Holy Ghost

Your woman of the scripture should be a person whose whole life was one of listening to and following the promptings of the Holy Ghost. You could give examples of times in her life when she was led by the Holy Ghost and how that caused her testimony of the Savior to grow. The Holy Ghost is also a comforter. Mary, the mother of Jesus, found great comfort from the Holy Ghost as she accepted her calling to be the mother of the Messiah. She would possibly have to face much difficulty by accepting her calling and it was the Holy Ghost that helped her know that all was going to be all right. Think about how the Holy Ghost also brought comfort to her as she watched the hardships of Christ's mission unfold, ending in his death. Only the comfort of the Holy Ghost and her testimony could help her through those hard times when she could only watch and pray.

May Testimony Power - Divine Nature

Your testimony should be your conviction of your divine nature. You have inherited divine qualities from a Father in Heaven and those divine qualities will allow you to become all that He is. To know of our heritage as literal daughters of God and the possibility of inheriting all that our Father has, gives strength to our testimony of Jesus Christ and his gospel thus making it easier to live as we have been asked to live. That's the power of knowing from whom we came and to whom we can return if we strive to develop all the diving attributes that are within us.

June Testimony and the "B"-attitudes - Prophets

Your woman of the scriptures should be one that continually followed the prophets in all that she did. As Christ gave us a pattern for our lives in the beatitudes, our modern prophets give us directions also to focus our lives on Christlike attitudes so that our lives become filled with Christlike qualities. You could show how Hanna was truly a Christlike person as she followed the teaching of the prophets, giving examples of her great acts of goodness.

July Testimony Is An Action Word - Integrity

Your testimony should include the importance of having courage to stand for all that Christ has taught us. It could recognize the importance of being true to ourselves and our Savior in all that we do. It could talk about the power of example in sharing our testimonies with our friends and neighbors. Including examples of how other's righteous living has influenced your testimony could be effective.

August Strengthening Testimony through Service - Good Works

Your woman of the scriptures should be one who strived continually to serve others thereby strengthening, not only her testimony, but the testimony of others. Emma Smith is a great example of good works. Please bring out all the wonderful things she did to strengthen her family and her neighbors, thus building testimonies of the Savior.

September Yagottawanna Share It - Friendship

Focus on friendship and how we should share our testimony of the Savior with our friends. Your testimony should include the importance of good friends in all of our lives and the idea that it is our responsibility to share the gospel with our non-member friends. You could give examples of how this sharing has strengthened your own testimony. Sharing our testimony should be done in both works and deed - not only talking to our friends about our beliefs but also living them so our lives are, also, a testimony of Christ for our friends to follow.

October I Want To Bear My Testimony - Choice and Accountability

Our choices make us what we are so your woman should be one who has done the necessary preparation in her life by making good choices, thus becoming a testimony of righteous living. Ruth is a woman who expressed her testimony continually by the choice for good that she made. She felt a great need to accompany her mother in law into a land where Ruth's beliefs were not practiced. Ruth chose to bear testimony of Christ throughout her life through the choices she made.

November Testimony Increases Our 'Gratitude Attitude' - Gratitude

Emphasize that gratitude comes as we recognize the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ and of living a Christlike life. Your testimony should express your gratitude for Jesus Christ and his gospel. It could include specific blessings for which you are grateful that are yours because of living the gospel and having a testimony of Christ.

December Joy of Testimony - Savior, Jesus Christ

This presentation is the concluding one so should be especially strong so everyone understands the importance in finding joy in knowing and loving our Savior. Mary Magdalene was a great example of total devotion to Jesus Christ. The ways she displayed her love for the Savior should be emphasized as well as the joy she felt because of her choices to follow his teachings. This final skit should help us feel the joy that our testimonies of the Savior can bring into our lives.
