I am in the stake young women's pres. and each Wednesday before the wards "Ward Conference" we have been going to that ward and doing a personal progress night for them. We have written up an optional goal in Choice and Accountability so that they can use this night as a goal, but they do have to do a few more things at home with the goal. But what we have been doing is going in and reading directly from the For Strength of Youth on Modesty, Then we have taken modest Prom dresses that have been altered, added to or homemade and showing the girls different options to help them get excited about wearing modest dresses, even though they are so hard to find.

Then we have the Manager of the Deb store (who happens to be our secretaries daughter), come in and show clothes from her store, and she shows them how to make immodest clothes modes, by adding jackets, shirts under tank tops etc. She shows short skirts, but then tells them instead of buying this, look at this longer one and makes it look much more appealing. Instead of the short shorts, she makes a cute outfit using Capris.

The girls have loved it, then we have the leaders go out and we do the "Fashion Show" using the spaghetti, and the horse halter etc. We think it's been very successful, and the girls seem to enjoy it. It gives us a chance to be with the girls from the wards, and also bring in a very important message to them.
