Sunday we issued the girls actual mission calls and from Sunday to Wednesday they had to research it and learn a little about it. Starting 9:00pm on Tuesday night, they had to act the part of a missionary. I.E.: go to bed at 10:30, up by 6:am to start personal scripture study and 15 min of exercise time, then they had to be dressed like a missionary all day at school (INCLUDING NYLONS!!!) We also had the local sister missionaries come and talk about life as a sister missionary. We handed out Books of Mormon that they had to find someone between Sun-Wed to give it to with their testimony in it. They came prepared on Wednesday night with stories of how it all went, and a display of something from their place and a small treat to share that was native to their country. It was a great night with a great turn out.

Missionary Report Sheet

For your missionary experience, we ask that you abide by mission rules beginning Tuesday evening when you go to sleep. Throughout the day on Wednesday we wish for you to dress, act, and be a missionary. Please abide by mission rules (i.e. no TV, no radio, internet, etc.) as you go normally about your day.

You will be asked to give a copy of the Book of Mormon to someone during the day, whether it be a friend, an acquaintance, or someone you meet outside of school. You will then report your experience of sharing the gospel on Wednesday evening.

In addition, you are to research a little bit about the country in which you have been assigned to serve. Please complete this form so you can tell us a little about your particular mission on Wednesday.

Feel free to bring decorations of some sort (i.e. a flag, an article of clothing, pictures, a map with your mission indicated, etc.), as well as an item of food that is unique to your mission to share with others.
